Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Corinth, MS is seeking an Assembly I to join our Remanufacturing team. In this role, you will perform a range of assembly processes in a fast-paced environment, upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates will read prints, follow standard work, and use hand and power tools, torque tools, and related equipment, with occasional crane/hoist tasks. This position emphasizes teamwork and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused team environment to perform various assembly processes.
• Knowledge and adherence to contamination control guidelines,
• Will require print reading skills and quality checks, as defined by standard work.
• Will use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, gages, hoists, presses, and other tools as necessary.
• hoists, presses, and other tools as necessary.
• Will be required to follow production schedules
• Will be required to utilize various computer systems including MES, BIQ, Pinpoint and Epix to reference work instructions, prints and perform data entry
• May require utilizing overhead cranes/hoists
