Johnson Matthey, Inc. in Taylor, MI is seeking a Test Cell Engineer (Engineer I) to perform analytical review of test cycles and aging protocols for diesel and gasoline platforms.

You will develop software test cycles, work with test cell automation, and conduct emissions and aftertreatment evaluations. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field with 5 years of progressive experience, including automotive testing with data acquisition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in CS, ME or related field.
• 5+ years progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience.
• Experience performing automotive and engine testing using data acquisition systems (A&D).
• Experience in data acquisition and analysis of engine aftertreatment test data.
• Experience applying aftertreatment chemistry principles for test design and analysis.

Responsabilités

• Perform analytical review of standardized test cycles and aging protocols for diesel and gasoline platforms.
• Program and validate software test cycle programming.
• Design and implement test cell automation and create test plans.
• Provide project management support including process improvements, calibrations, and deliverables.
• Generate data reporting and summary presentations for customers and training technicians.
