Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Test Automation & DevOps Engineer in Chantilly, VA to lead the design and implementation of a scalable cross-platform test automation system. The candidate will work across Python/C++, Linux/Windows, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring robust, scalable test environments for mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with 5+ years in a technical role.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 5+ years Python and strong C++ experience for enterprise apps.
• 5+ years leading design, architecture and development of enterprise-scale apps.
• Experience on Linux and Windows environments supporting testing targets.
• Experience automating and managing multiple hypervisor platforms (VMware/KVM).
• Familiarity with DevOps, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and implement IT systems used by the client’s mission network.
• Apply knowledge of OSI model layers 1-4 in system design.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies in IT systems.
• Work in a fast-paced, ambiguous setting and translate concepts for leadership.
• Lead a project from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Brief colleagues and partners on methods, tooling, and deconfliction.
