Job summary

CACI is seeking an Operational Systems Engineer for the Chantilly, VA location to lead the implementation, system administration, and O&M of a scalable cross-platform software test automation system.

You will design and extend the DART system, re-implement an application layer for test automation enabling IaC (Ansible, Terraform) and DevOps tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira) while supporting legacy Python bindings and REST endpoints with swagger docs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
• 5+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 5+ years of Python and strong C++ experience.
• 5+ years leading design/architecture of enterprise-scale apps.
• 5+ years on Linux and Windows platforms for testing targets.
• Experience automating multiple hypervisor platforms (VMware/KVM).
• Familiarity with DevOps, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer and implement IT systems for the client’s mission network.
• Apply knowledge of OSI model layers 1-4.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT systems for cyber missions.
• Work in a fast-paced setting and distill complex concepts for leadership.
• Lead project initiatives from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Brief colleagues and partners on methodologies, tools, and configurations.
