Job summary

CACI International Inc in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join an agile team supporting cloud-based applications. You will architect and implement AWS cloud solutions, deploy COTS apps on the Sponsor cloud, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Git/Jenkins.

Requirements include TS/SCI with poly, 7+ years in related fields, Linux/DevOps expertise, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes and AWS CDK.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
7+ years in Computer Science/IT/Cyber/Security or related field or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years in software engineering/app deployment.
Minimum 5 years of production AWS experience with AWS CDK.
Experience in incident/problem management and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum in a team environment.
Experience with GitHub/GitLab, Jira, Jenkins.
Demonstrated Linux and DevOps experience.
Scripting with Bash/Python or similar.
Cloud-based app design/development and cloud management per Sponsor guidelines.
Experience deploying containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

Design, implement and test build processes to support the SW lifecycle in an agile team.
Identify optimal cloud-based solutions for Sponsor’s environment.
Communicate systemic inefficiencies and propose actionable improvements.
Create design documentation and participate in design reviews.
Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines to deploy code (Git/Jenkins).
Share on‑call and O&M responsibilities with the team.
Maintain monitoring tools/metrics for service health.
Document standard operating procedures and support the team across boundaries.
Collaborate with software developers, DB admins, system engineers and managers.
