Job summary

CACI International is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our IT team in the United States. The role focuses on implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT systems to ensure reliability and performance.

You will work with Unix/Windows environments, containerization with Docker or Kubernetes, and monitoring tools like Nagios or Splunk, applying Bash or Python scripting, and Ansible/Puppet/Salt configuration.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly.
• 7+ years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• Proficient in Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience with Ansible/Puppet/Salt configuration management.
• Containerization with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Monitoring with Nagios or Splunk.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and related processes.
• Assist users in accessing and using IT systems.
• Support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices.
• Escalate and communicate status to agency management and internal customers.
• Support the dispatch system and hardware problems through resolution.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization; perform capacity planning.
• Provide in-depth troubleshooting experience for IT systems.
• Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management for escalated tickets.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems and related components.
