Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented QA professional to support software and mobile testing initiatives. You will plan, execute, and validate tests across the SDLC, ensuring defects are tracked to resolution and data integrity is maintained.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help improve test coverage to ensure high-quality releases that meet business and user needs.

Qualifications

• Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Strong manual testing experience.
• API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of SDLC.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA professional to support software and mobile application testing initiatives. This role will play a key part in ensuring product quality through effective test planning, execution, defect management, and validation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and mobile application testing
• Validate APIs and system integrations using tools such as Postman
• Document, track, and verify defects through resolution
• Create and manage test data required for testing activities
• Validate backend data and application functionality using SQL
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives
