Job summary

GCS Recruitment seeks a detail-oriented QA professional to support software and mobile application testing initiatives in Kimball, Tennessee. You will contribute to test planning, execution, and defect management throughout the SDLC.

You will perform functional, regression, and API testing, validate data with SQL, and collaborate with developers and product teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. This is a full-time, onsite role with a focus on delivering high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Experience testing web-based and mobile applications.
• Strong manual testing experience.
• API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and mobile application testing.
• Validate APIs and system integrations using tools such as Postman.
• Document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Create and manage test data required for testing activities.
• Validate backend data and application functionality using SQL.
• Collaborate closely with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Analyze existing test coverage and identify gaps or improvement opportunities.
• Ensure high-quality software releases that meet business and user requirements.
