Job summary

Tesla is hiring a part-time Tesla Advisor in California. You will guide visitors, explain vehicle options, schedule test drives, and help customers complete delivery paperwork. The role emphasizes energy, service quality, and teamwork while supporting ongoing customer care.

You’ll engage with customers from inquiry through delivery, answer product questions, and assist with the overall purchasing experience in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service and/or sales experience to meet or exceed targets.
• Positive, energetic, and enthusiastic about the progress in the mobility industry.
• Ability to understand and convey business problems and technical concepts.
• Strong sense of teamwork and reliability.
• Excellent attention to detail with solid organization and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and events in a retail environment.
• Ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable.
• Must have a valid driver’s license in the country of work.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in visitors quickly, personally, and ensure they feel valued.
• Educate prospective clients about Tesla’s products and offerings.
• Assist in maintaining a healthy sales pipeline by collecting contact data and scheduling test drives.
• Contribute to monthly sales and delivery targets by achieving KPIs.
• Present, sell, and support the delivery and setup of the Tesla ecosystem.
• Provide the highest level of customer care throughout the sales and delivery cycle and ongoing support.
• Plan, stage, and arrange customer vehicles ahead of their delivery appointment.
• Educate new owners with comprehensive vehicle directions tailored to the client.
• Execute client documentation on delivery day.
• Demonstrate mastery of all Tesla products and services and stay updated on incentives.
• Lead guided deliveries from Delivery Centers to client homes.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
