Job summary

Tesla is seeking a Remote Advisor to deliver an incredible educational, immersive, and exciting experience to customers, acting as brand ambassador and supporting our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

You will engage with prospects and current customers via live chat, phone, email, and SMS, guiding them toward vehicle or solar purchases while working with a team to ensure top-tier service and ongoing support across ownership.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong relationship management and ability to explain complex concepts.
• Positive, energetic, with excellent listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with standard productivity tools and CRM.
• Valid US Driver’s License and/or State ID; DMV Salesperson License required.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and prep prospective customers via live chat, phone, email, and SMS for vehicle or solar purchases.
• Respond to inbound customer inquiries to resolve product needs.
• Influence purchases with a consultative approach and align with Tesla’s mission.
• Provide feedback based on customer experiences.
• Escalate issues to management promptly.
• Support continuous process improvements.
• Deliver high-level service through the full delivery and ownership cycle.
• Determine if a technical solution can be resolved remotely.
• Assist with campaigns requested by Tesla HQ.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
