Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field with at least 2 years of postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in planning and executing in situ/operando experiments, EXAFS data analysis, and publishing results using X-ray spectroscopy and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Support operation and user program of the TES beamline, collaborating with the Lead Beamline Scientist.
• Improve experimental procedures from sample environment to data analysis for streamlined measurements.
• Adapt beamline capabilities for autonomous and high-throughput experiments.
• Collaborate on internal and external scientific/technical projects leveraging beamline capabilities.
• Conduct independent research aligned with the beamline's mission.
