Job summary

CooperSurgical in Tampa is seeking a field Sales Associate to call on surgeons, OR staff, and admins to present product benefits and drive territory growth. You will plan and execute the sales strategy, complete required training, and submit weekly activity reports.

A Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of hospital/OR sales are required. Travel within the territory is expected; base pay ranges from $70,000 to $80,000 with total earnings potential up to $173,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1-3 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, preferably within the hospital/OR environment.
• Documented ability to grow sales in previous sales positions.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls to surgeons, operating room management, nursing and administration.
• Communicate product benefits to professionals for surgical practice and/or operating room.
• Compile weekly and monthly sales and activity reports for Regional Manager.
• Plan and execute the sales plan to meet territory goals.
• Complete product training and demonstrate competency in product use and maintenance.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications on OR protocol, bloodborne pathogens, and HIPAA as directed.
• Travel within territory and perform other duties as assigned.
