Job summary

PODS is seeking a Storage Center Manager in the Los Angeles area to supervise daily operations across designated storage centers. You will direct associates, manage routing and driver assignments, and ensure safety, OSHA, DOT, and maintenance programs are followed to meet service expectations.

The role emphasizes talent development, performance coaching, and enforcing PODS standards in customer interactions, asset care, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college degree preferred.
• CDL Class B license or higher preferred.
• Must hold a valid driver license from the state of assignment.
• DOT medical card preferred; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, train and retain top talent.
• Coach and provide hands-on training for associates; manage performance.
• Enforce PODS core values and safety/compliance programs.
• Report employee issues to Territory Manager and HRBP in a timely manner.
• Communicate goals, results and improvement opportunities to team.
• Ensure daily pre-shift meetings are conducted at each Storage Center.
• Manage customer experience to meet PODS CSAT/DSAT goals and resolve issues.
• Oversee asset management and daily routing/ETA/JPH performance.
• Coordinate repairs and paperwork; ensure equipment is safe and compliant.
• Ensure DOT/OHSA regulatory compliance and local permitting where required.
• Travel frequently within local territory to storage centers.
