Job summary

Stine Seed Company is seeking an Independent Sales Representative to cover Lycoming, Sullivan, Wyoming, and Union counties in Pennsylvania. You will be the primary ambassador of the Stine brand within your territory, driving growth and building strong grower relationships.

In this role you will develop agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products, manage existing accounts, recruit new accounts, and implement sales programs in collaboration with regional agronomists to meet district

Qualifications

• Three or more years of ag experience, including agronomy, crop production or seed sales.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of proven sales techniques, as well as excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• Experience in dealer development and retention.
• Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet goals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary ambassador of the Stine brand within the assigned territory.
• Develop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Stine seed products and services applicable to the assigned territory.
• Manage existing accounts & recruit new accounts to increase sales.
• Communicate and implement Stine s sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals for the district.
• Work in conjunction with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide a high level of sales support within the assigned territory.
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.
