Job summary

MERSINO DEWATERING INCORPORATED is seeking a Sales Representative to drive business development in the assigned territory. You will represent the company, secure orders, coordinate logistics, and ensure premium service and profitable execution for customers and the business.

Key duties include prospecting leads, preparing quotations, maintaining the CRM, attending pre-bids, and collaborating with crews and project teams to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in construction equipment rental, sales, manufacturing, or managing construction projects.
• Planning and organizational skills in handling multiple projects.
• Proficient in PC software applications.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and/or technical manuals.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost estimating and bidding procedures.
• Skills in workflow analysis and management.
• Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop the skills and product/service offerings knowledge to become a technical expert.
• Respond immediately to customer inquiries by phone, email, questions, issues, and concerns.
• Prepare weekly plan of attack for the next week to share with the SM.
• Submit reports detailing each call to prospective customers via the CRM.
• Regularly maintain the CRM to ensure quality information and follow up.
• Scour territory for leads, cold call prospects, maintain long-time clients.
• Attend pre-bids, meet with clients to review jobs, visit sites prior to bidding.
• Respond to issues on active projects and coordinate required resources.
• Prepare invoices, reports and analyses in support of territory goals.
