Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in diesel or truck service repair or related field.
• 3 years of project management and supervisory experience.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee workload of shop and field service employees.
• Establish productivity criteria to meet company requirements.
• Ensure accurate completion and documentation of service orders.
• Perform quality checks on serviced items to ensure proper repairs.
• Prepare and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule.
• Maintain records of equipment purchases, repairs, maintenance, servicing, and warranties.
• Oversee inventory of parts and supplies to meet daily service requests.
• Oversee estimation of maintenance and repair work through tracking systems.
• Guide diagnosis and repairs in shop and field.
• Maintain safety, quality and environmental systems.
