Chobani’s Territory Sales Specialist will be responsible for enhanced in-store selling and a strong ability to ensure distribution, pricing, and sale execution. This Chobani team member will maintain and develop a portfolio of priority and assigned accounts through in-person sales calls, product cuttings, operator presentation & on-premises promotional events. The Territory Sales Specialist will lead the execution of sales and merchandising plans designed to increase sales, profits, and market share in the assigned territory. This person will work in harmony with our broker organization reporting to our Regional Manager providing extensive focus on Chobani branded products. This is a sales position that will require you to make calls to operators locally and virtually. You must submit a sales plan each period in accordance with the goals set by your manager. Reporting criteria includes submitting a weekly itinerary, maintaining a key account list, and reporting all qualified sales calls in CRM.
• Drive sales and achieve case volume targets by making in-person calls within your assigned territory.
• Prospect and identify new customers while building and maintaining a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Promote Chobani products through on-site presentations and product sampling, focusing on commercial foodservice and non-commercial C&U accounts.
• Represent Chobani at local trade shows and industry events, expanding brand visibility and building strategic relationships.
• Present pricing programs, close sales opportunities, and meet/exceed sales targets.
• Leverage CRM and sales tracking tools to monitor and report territory sales results, ensuring alignment with goals.
• Identify opportunities for account growth while maintaining strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service.
• Educate customers on Chobani’s product benefits, brand values, and solutions to enhance their business.
• Collaborate with internal teams to share market insights, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Travel: 50% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience); 0-2 years of industry experience or 5+ years in consumer products with a focus on sales.
• Proven ability to sell and influence store/ownership personnel using fact-based data and consultative selling methods.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts across a large territory.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for food and the Chobani brand.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
• Ability to lift, bend, reach, and kneel as needed.
• Occasional weekend work required.
• Must have a personal vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record for work-related travel.
