North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, is seeking a Sales Representative with drive and creativity to grow our slate product sales in the Southeast region.

Responsibilities include prospecting customers, negotiating terms, managing the full sales cycle, and delivering accurate forecasts. The role requires up to 50% travel across GA, NC, SC, VA, and TN with local candidates preferred. We offer competitive base salary with bonus and medical benefits.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and prospect new customers, build lasting partnerships.
• Meet contractors, suppliers and architects; negotiate pricing, terms and concessions to meet sales targets.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close.
• Provide regular reporting to leadership on sales activity and pipeline.
• Forecast and monitor project sales to achieve targets.
• Manage leads in territory, send information and samples, coordinate logistics.
• Estimate, quote and analyze costs to competitively sell slate products.
• Perform ongoing account management including lead gen, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing and post-sale support.

Join the sales team at North American Slate, the American subsidiary of Rathscheck Schiefer, one of the leading international producers of premium quality slate roofing and products for the design of aesthetic living spaces.

We are seeking a Sales Representative with drive, new ideas, creativity and foresight to help us shape the future of North American Slate.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying and prospecting new customers building relationships that create lasting partnerships.
• Meeting contractors, suppliers, and architects while effectively negotiating within the provided framework as it relates to pricing flexibility, acceptable contract terms and any potential concessions achieving sales objectives.
• Managing the entire sales life cycle from prospecting to deal close.
• Providing consistent reporting to leadership for current and future sales and project oversight.
• Accurately provide project sales forecasting and monitoring of pipeline projects to reach sales targets.
• Managing leads within assigned territory, sending information and samples, coordinating logistics.
• Estimating, quoting and analyzing costs to strategically sell offered slate products in a competitive market.
• Ongoing account management including lead generation, qualification, product presentation, negotiation, closing the sale and post-sale account management.

What we are looking for:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree

Field of Study Preferred:

Sales, Marketing, or a related field

Required Work Experience:

Three years of business outside sales experience, preferably construction-related

Travel Requirements:

50%

Southeast Region territory comprises the following states: Georgia (GA), North Carolina (NC), South Carolina (SC), Virginia (VA), and Tennessee (TN). Local candidates in these states preferred. No re-location offered.

What we provide:

• $65,000 to $100,000 highly competitive base salary coupled with bonus remuneration based upon sales target achievement.
