Job summary

Mate Precision Technologies is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Georgia and Florida with remote work and up to 75% travel. You will promote Mate’s precision tooling and laser consumables, cultivate customer partnerships, and drive growth across the regional territory.

You’ll leverage hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience, strong communication, and sales acumen to expand the customer base while maintaining positive relationships and delivering value.

Qualifications

• Residence within the territory of Georgia and Florida.
• Ability to travel up to 75% including overnight trips.
• Hands-on sheet metal fabrication experience or operations background.
• Strong technical and communication skills with presentation and problem-solving ability.
• Sales experience is a plus; technical knowledge is key.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to boost productivity in GA/FL sheet metal fabrication.
• Demonstrate Mate tooling and consumables to improve efficiency.
• Develop relationships with existing customers and identify new opportunities.
• Conduct on-site product demos and meetings (in-person and via teleconferencing).
• Build a network of OEM dealers and industry contacts to expand reach.
• Track meetings, expenses, and customer interactions using CRM.
• Stay current on new products, trends, and market conditions and share insights.

This exciting role with a global industry leader supports customers in more than 85 countries by helping them reduce costs, increase productivity, and achieve operational excellence through the application of best-in-class solutions.

What You’ll Do

As the face of Mate in your region, you’ll:

• Partner with customers to boost productivity through advanced sheet metal fabrication applications.
• Demonstrate how Mate’s precision tooling and consumables can improve efficiency and performance.
• Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new opportunities.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and customer meetings (in-person and via teleconferencing).
• Develop and maintain a network of OEM dealers and industry contacts to expand reach.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on sheet metal fabrication or operations experience (punch presses, lasers, or press brakes required).
• Residence within the territory (Georgia and Florida).
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75%, including overnight trips.
• Strong technical and communication skills - with the confidence to present, problem-solve, and close.
• Sales experience preferred (but your technical know-how is key!).
• A self-starter with integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative mindset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Valid driver’s license and high school diploma or GED required.
