Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Sales Representative to join our Electrical team in Fridley, Minnesota. The role focuses on direct sales within an assigned territory, developing new accounts and leveraging Intertek’s ATIC solutions to support international trade and regulatory product testing.

The position offers a base salary with monthly incentive eligibility based on sales goals, plus comprehensive benefits including PTO, holidays, health and retirement plans. Travel up to 50% is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of successful B2B sales experience.
• Superior interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time with a valid driver's license.
• Physical dexterity to travel via car and plane.

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s services within assigned vertical, account and territory through client research, prospecting, and networking.
• Meet with current and prospective customers via client presentations and trade shows.
• Meet order and revenue quotas on a monthly basis.
• Write and follow up on proposals, specify standards and pricing; follow through on sales transactions for a great customer experience.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Meet activity targets and log activity in iConnect (CRM).
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required.
• Perform other duties as required.
