Job summary

Acme Tools is seeking a Territory Sales representative to work from the store and in the field in Minot, ND. You will set up appointments, present products to customers, and drive new business with a consultative approach.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service or outside sales, strong communication skills, and a valid driver’s license. Expect opportunities across industrial, construction, and residential equipment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of direct customer service experience, preferably in outside sales.
• Strong technology skills and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
• Prior knowledge or use of tools and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work in-store on Saturdays as business dictates.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and product support of industrial, construction, and residential construction equipment.
• Prospect for new accounts, foster current customer relationships, and grow opportunities with new and existing customers using a consultative sales approach.
• Deliver world-class customer service through knowledge of Acme Tools’ product offerings, service capabilities, and programs.
• Identify customer opportunities and recommend products or services to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate items through product demonstrations prior to the sale.
• Guide customers through starting procedures and break-in periods after purchase.
• Follow up after the sale to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Participate in store events such as inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, vendor trainings, and special sales.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting hazards.
• Operate and upkeep of a company vehicle and technology resources.
