Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Customer Manager Associate to cover a market territory, building relationships with store managers and driving short- and long-term performance.

You will conduct wall-to-wall sales coverage, support new item speed-to-shelf, pricing surveys, promotions, and merchandising at independent natural retailers through distributor networks such as UNFI/Kehe. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Sales experience required.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills.
• Ability to store and access samples at home.
• Proficient in Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Sell promotional programs for displays at independent natural retailers.
• Sell incremental quantities for display and TPR via distributors.
• Develop relationships with store managers and buyers through impeccable communication and follow through.
• Obtain distribution and placement of client new items at independent natural retailers through distributors such as UNFI and/or Kehe.
• Identifies and corrects voids.
• Merchandises manufacturer’s products to obtain best possible shelf placement.
• Attends retailer resets when requested.
• Completes audits and pricing surveys in stores as requested.
• Communicates competitive and market activity to management.
• Utilizes supplied technology to report on results.
• Sets and reviews performance against objectives with Sales Manager.
