Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager based in Griffith, IN to drive sales growth across the assigned territory and adjacent states. You will expand the customer base, negotiate terms, and manage relationships with strategic accounts while leveraging CRM tools for planning and follow-up.

The role offers competitive pay with commissions and a $3,500 sign-on bonus. Qualifications include 1–3 years of sales experience and knowledge of welding and gas products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of welding and gas products strongly preferred.
• Industrial sales experience strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of managing a sales territory.
• Strong time and management skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory business through solution selling of gas products and technology to new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and project scope with existing and new customers.
• Utilize CRM platforms for planning, scheduling, and time management of the assigned sales territory.
• Develop long term relationships with strategic customers and manage customer portfolios.
• Review and manage Accounts Receivable balances to minimize working capital risk.
• Respond to customer issues by deploying necessary company resources.
• Collaborate with local branch managers to promote sales at retail store locations.
• Meet goals and objectives set by management.
• Perform administrative duties related to expenses and profitability analyses.
