Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager in Appleton, WI to drive growth and build lasting customer relationships. You will expand new business and grow existing accounts, with some overnight travel required.

Sell gas products and technology, develop plans to expand the customer base, negotiate terms, and manage relationships with strategic customers. Proficiency with CRM and MS Office is beneficial to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of welding and gas products strongly preferred.
• Industrial sales experience strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of managing a sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory business through solution selling of gas products and technology to new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and project scope with existing and new customers.
• Utilize Outlook, Concur, or other company designated CRM platforms for planning and scheduling of the assigned sales territory.
• Develop long term relationships with strategic customers, facilitating product supply agreements and targeted accounts.
• Review and manage Accounts Receivable balances to minimize working capital risk.
• Promote sales and customer management through retail store locations within the territory.
• Meet goals and objectives set by management.
• Perform administrative duties such as managing expenses through Concur and pricing/data sheet preparation.
