Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager based in Sheridan, WY to drive sales growth across the territory and expand our customer base.

You will lead solution selling of gas products and technology, while developing plans to grow existing accounts and negotiate terms with customers. The role requires 1–3 years of sales experience and a strong understanding of welding and gas products, with overnight travel possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of sales experience.
• Knowledge of welding and gas products preferred.
• Industrial sales experience preferred.
• Track record of managing a sales territory.
• Strong time management skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory business through solution selling of gas products and technology to new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and project scope with customers.
• Use CRM platforms for planning, scheduling, and time management of the territory.
• Develop long-term relationships with strategic customers and suppliers.
• Review and manage Accounts Receivable balances to minimize risk.
• Address customer issues by deploying company resources.
• Support sales growth through branch collaboration and retail locations.
