Job description

life insurance, parental leave, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), profit sharing

United States, Virginia, Richmond

At Molnlycke, we don't just sell wound care solutions-we help transform healing outcomes.

We're currently seeking a high-performing Territory Sales Manager in Richmond, VA to support an exceptionally successful territory in our Wound Care Division.

We're looking for a driven, seasoned sales professional who thrives in complex healthcare environments-particularly someone with experience calling on teaching hospitals and Level 1 trauma centers. This is not an entry-level role! The ideal candidate understands how to sell value over price, has a strong track record of exceeding quota, and can build trusted relationships across all levels of a hospital system.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive territory growth through both new business development and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Call on key hospital decision-makers-VPs, Directors, clinicians-across multiple departments.
  • Sell premium wound care solutions by articulating clinical and economic value, not just price.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, defend business, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Partner with distributor reps to expand coverage and ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Perform cold calls regularly-this is a critical component of how we generate leads and create impact.
  • Maintain up-to-date records, sales reporting, and account planning in alignment with company processes.
  • Travel extensively across the territory, including overnight stays as needed.

The salary range for this role is $88,000 - $95,000 per year, and it is eligible for commission and car reimbursement.

Offers of employment consider various factors including experience, education, location, and role-specific requirements. Beyond competitive pay, Molnlycke Health Care offers comprehensive benefits and fosters a supportive, inclusive culture that prioritizes employee well-being and professional growth. Join us and experience a workplace where your contributions are valued and your career can thrive!

Our comprehensive benefits package is designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life harmony.

  • Medical, dental and vision plans are available from your first day of employment, and provide extensive coverage through multiple options so you can find the right fit for you and your family.
  • Financial benefits include a robust 401(k) plan with company match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, life insurance and both flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.
  • Molnlycke offers generous paid time off, paid parental leave, an Employee Assistance Program and lifestyle perks like discounted access to entertainment and travel.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in medical device or wound care.
  • Experience selling premium-priced products where value-based selling was key to success.
  • Strong background calling on academic medical centers and Level 1 trauma facilities.
  • Proven sales results-consistent 100%+ quota achievement is preferred.
  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented mindset-no lone wolves here.
  • Excellent communicator who's confident presenting to large groups and senior-level stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinker who can use data to drive strategy and defend market share.
  • Comfortable with overnight travel; Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
