TITLE: Territory Sales Manager - Northern NY State

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Experienced direct Sales Representative with 10+ years of Industrial Stretch Film sales knowledge. This individual will need to be located within the Western PA or Upstate New York and cover packaging distributors in the States of PA, NY, and WV. He/she will be responsible for developing territory by adding additional distribution and supporting national customers.

Qualifications

  • Must have 8 + years of strong stretch film product knowledge, competitive film knowledge and knowledge on how to conduct film audits.
  • Must have working knowledge of stretch wrappers and how to maximize film's performance on wrappers and trouble shoot quality issues.
  • Four-year college graduate preferred
  • Must be comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
  • Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Must call on existing Packaging Distributors to maintain and to target and develop new business.
  • Must call on new Packaging Distributors and add new distribution to achieve target goals.
  • Must call on VP's, Sales Managers, Owners, and Sales Representatives to present product offering, target end users, conduct sales meeting, conduct product training and to perform film audits vs. competitive products.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of stretch film, competitors, stretch wrappers and how to conduct film audits.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, excellent follow-up, and strong computer skills working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Must be comfortable making product presentations.
  • Other tasks and assignments assigned by supervisor.

Work Environment Conditions Subjected To In This Position

  • Travel required: (approximately) 80% to customers or plant locations domestically.
