Territory Sales Manager - Marietta, GA - Truck Tire

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Truck Tires business continues to grow and operates in a highly competitive market. Continental’s main advantage is the advanced technology solutions associated with our business, which differentiates us from our competitors. We are seeking a successful Territory Sales Manager to drive sales of our new tires for the replacement market for commercial trucks and trailers. In this role, you will provide a consultative approach as an expert and trusted advisor in Continental products and services. You will also promote new technologies and services, prospect for new customers, and maintain existing accounts in both dealers and fleets. We pride ourselves on being a competitive and knowledgeable sales team that delivers the best solutions to our customers and thrives in an exciting, performance-driven culture.

Our team consists of about 85 Territory Sales Representatives across the US, reporting to District Managers, then to Region Managers, within four regions. The role primarily involves traveling to customer locations, dealers, and fleets, with most work conducted independently from a home office. Our team relies on strong relationships with one another and our customers. We offer a unique bonus program to incentivize volume sales and strategic targets.

• Retain and grow existing accounts and solicit new business by executing our sales strategy
• Build strong, trusting relationships with customers during regular site visits and sales calls
• Develop and maintain sales activities at key regional fleets and dealers
• Motivate customers by offering high-performance products, technology solutions, and your product expertise
• Own the launch process of new products and services for successful integration into our product line
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies through market analysis and forecasting
• Resolve operational and administrative issues, respond to inquiries, and prepare reports as required by management

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3+ years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with 3-6+ years of related sales experience
• 1+ years of experience in tire, automotive, technology, or a related industry, or 2+ years of military employment
• Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting, walking, sitting, squatting, and climbing around commercial vehicles
• Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, including rolling, moving, or stacking
• Legal authorization to work in the US; sponsorship is not available

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-5+ years of outside sales experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Comfort with digital technology and software applications
