The Truck Tires business continues to grow and operates in a highly competitive market. Continental’s main advantage is the advanced technology solutions that differentiate us from competitors. We are seeking a successful Territory Sales Manager to drive sales of our new tires for the replacement market for commercial trucks and trailers. In this role, you will act as a trusted business advisor, providing expertise on Continental products and services, promoting new technologies, prospecting new customers, and maintaining existing accounts with dealers and fleets. We pride ourselves on a knowledgeable sales team that delivers the best solutions in a performance-driven culture.

There are about 85 Territory Sales Representatives across the US, reporting to District Managers and Region Managers. The role involves traveling to customer locations, working mainly from a home office, and building key relationships with customers and internal teams. Our team has a bonus program incentivizing sales volume and strategic targets.

Your responsibilities include:

• Retaining and growing existing accounts and acquiring new business according to our sales strategy
• Building trusting relationships with customers through regular visits and calls
• Developing sales activity at key regional fleets and dealers
• Motivating customers by offering high-performance products and technology solutions
• Leading the launch of new products and services for successful integration
• Monitoring market progress and adjusting strategies accordingly
• Handling operational and administrative issues, inquiries, and reports

Your profile

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3+ years of sales experience OR a high school diploma with 3-6+ years of related sales experience
• At least 1 year of experience in tire, automotive, technology, or a related industry, or 2+ years of military employment
• Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Physical ability to lift, walk, sit, squat, and climb around commercial vehicles, occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no sponsorship available for visas

Preferred qualifications include:

• 2-5+ years of outside sales experience
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Comfort with digital technology and software tools
