Territory Sales Manager - Marietta, GA - Truck Tire

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

The Truck Tires business continues to grow and operates in a highly competitive market. Continental’s main advantage is the advanced technology solutions associated with our business, which differentiates us from our competitors. We seek a successful Territory Sales Manager to drive sales of our new tires for the replacement market for commercial trucks and trailers. In this role, you will provide a consultative approach as an expert and trusted advisor in Continental products and services. You will also promote new technologies and services, prospect new customers, and maintain existing accounts in both dealer networks and fleets. We pride ourselves on being a competitive, knowledgeable sales team delivering the best solutions to our customers in an exciting, performance-driven culture.

Our team consists of about 85 Territory Sales Representatives across the US, reporting to District Managers and then to Region Managers, with four regions nationwide. The role primarily involves traveling to customer locations, dealers, and fleets, working mostly from a home office. While most work is independent, our success relies on strong relationships with colleagues and customers. The team features a unique bonus program incentivizing volume sales and strategic targets.

• Retain and grow existing accounts and solicit new business by executing our sales strategy
• Build strong, trusting relationships with customers during regular visits and sales calls
• Develop and maintain sales activities at key regional fleets and dealers
• Motivate customers by offering high-performance products, technology solutions, and product expertise
• Lead the launch process of new products and services, ensuring successful integration into our product line
• Monitor progress and adjust strategies through market analysis and forecasting
• Resolve operational and administrative issues, respond to inquiries, and prepare reports as required

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree with 1-3+ years of sales experience OR a high school degree with 3-6+ years of related sales experience
• At least 1 year of experience in tire, automotive, technology, or a related industry, or 2+ years of military employment
• Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, sitting, squatting, and climbing on commercial vehicles
• Lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally, including rolling, moving, or stacking
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no sponsorship available

ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES

• Bachelor’s degree and 2-5+ years outside sales experience
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Comfort with digital technology and software tools
