A leading industrial company is seeking a Regional Sales Manager based in Indianapolis to drive growth by selling lined centrifugal pumps and valves to the chemical industry. Responsibilities include meeting sales forecasts, developing strategic relationships with distributors, and implementing market strategies. Candidates should hold a related degree and have at least five years of sales experience in industrial equipment. The position offers a competitive salary range of $99,800 to $149,600 and comprehensive benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in industrial pumps, valves, and/or rotating equipment sales.
• Experience with lined pumps, valves, and corrosive chemical applications preferred.
• Experience managing distributors and selling directly to end users.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed territory sales revenue forecast.
• Make sales calls and build relationships with key customers.
• Develop strategies for market penetration and displacement of competition.
• Manage market price points and sell based on total cost of ownership.
• Provide market trends and competitive intelligence.
