Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow profitability and market share in a geographic area. You will build relationships with customers, present Shaw Carpet products, and manage sample displays while meeting budget constraints.

Responsibilities include daily sales calls, reporting, and promoting Shaw Floors, A/T and Philly Commercial to dealers, designers and end-users across the Eugene, OR region.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Must be able to use a laptop and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
• Applicants must be physically able to assemble and take down display fixtures.
• Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle capable of carrying product sample boards.
• Ability to lift more than 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Must reside within the Eugene, OR territory.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on sale of soft surface flooring products.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users; analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50lbs or more regularly.
• Prospect for new accounts while monitoring territory market dynamics.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales activity.
• Communicate periodic sales reports, market conditions and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics from computer reports to set goals and assist dealers.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budget within limits.
• Enter customer interactions and key information into Salesforce.com.
• Promote residential products including Shaw Floors, A/T and Philly Commercial; educate customers.
