Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager to maintain and grow Shaw Carpet sales across Mobile, AL metro. The role emphasizes relationship building with retailers, designers and end-users, with responsibility for product promotion, displays, and data reporting.

You will travel locally, lift 50 lbs, assemble displays, and use Salesforce to track interactions and opportunities. A High School Diploma and prior sales experience are required, with a focus on residential Shaw products.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interface with diverse customers.
• Must operate a laptop and use MS Office.
• Must be able to assemble/display fixtures and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers focusing on soft surface flooring products.
• Present products to retailers, designers and end-users and analyze leads.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more.
• Prospect for new accounts within the geographic area.
• Prepare and communicate reports of sales transactions and goals.
• Analyze sales statistics to help dealers promote sales.
• Control travel and sample budgets within the approved limits.
• Enter customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential Shaw products and educate customers.
