Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Territory Sales Manager for the Eugene, OR area to maintain and grow profitability and market share through strong customer relationships, service, and integrity.

You will implement major market programs, manage samples and displays, and drive sales with Shaw Floors and related lines. You will travel regionally, present to dealers and end-users, and use Salesforce.com to track activities and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous sales experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to interface with a diverse group of customers in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Must be able to use a laptop computer and basic Microsoft Windows software including MS Office.
• Applicants must be physically capable of assembling and taking down display fixtures.
• Territory Managers must travel in a vehicle able to carry multiple product sample boards.
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must reside within the territory (Eugene, OR).

Responsibilities

• Daily sales calls on existing customers with emphasis on soft surface flooring products and related items.
• Present products to retail dealers, designers and end-users and analyze leads from corporate reports.
• Sell and construct display racks weighing 50 lbs or more regularly.
• Continuously prospect for new accounts within the designated geographic area.
• Prepare reports of business transactions and sales performance.
• Communicate periodic sales reports, market conditions and product needs.
• Analyze sales statistics using computer reports to set goals and aid dealers.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenditures and sample budgets within budget.
• Enter all customer interactions into Salesforce.com.
• Promote all residential Shaw products and educate customers.
