Job Description

The Rustman Agency, a leader in sales and marketing services, is excited to announce the opening for a Territory Sales Manager. As a Territory Sales Manager, you'll have the opportunity to lead and execute sales strategies, ensuring the achievement of the company's revenue and profitability goals. The position requires a highly motivated and strategic thinker who can not only manage everyday sales functions but also forecast market trends and coordinate with multiple departments to maximize reach and efficiency. The role demands an enthusiastic individual with a proven track record of success in direct sales and a deep understanding of customer dynamics and demographics within assigned territories.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and lead nationwide sales personnel toward achievement of corporate sales objectives.
  • Manage to budget and report on revenue forecasts and adjustments ensuring strategic goal alignment.
  • Develop competencies and processes required to create an effective and efficient sales organization.
  • Provide leadership through effective communication of vision, active coaching, and development while comparing sales results to goals and taking appropriate action to correct when necessary.
  • Engage in key or targeted customer activities.
  • Oversee and manage the sales team to ensure company quotas and standards are met by holding daily check-ins with team to set priorities, plan and review progress.
  • Analyze data to identify sales opportunities, develop promotional ideas, and materialize sales strategies.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty.
  • Develop and execute territory action plans to achieve significant sales targets.
  • Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
  • Participate in training and organizational development efforts that drive sales effectiveness.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales pipeline and efficiently drive sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for specific channels/areas assessed and reviewed on a quarterly basis.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all general company policies and governmental regulations regarding business activities in the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Territory Sales Manager or similar senior sales role.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.

  • Technical skills necessary for the utilization of CRM and data analysis software.
