Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Territory Sales Manager to lead growth and build lasting customer relationships in Appleton, WI.

You will drive sales and gross profit by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts within the assigned territory, with some overnight travel. The role requires 1-3 years of sales experience, knowledge of welding and gas products, and a proven track record in industrial sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 1-3 years of previous sales experience.
• Knowledge of welding and gas products strongly preferred.
• Industrial sales experience strongly preferred.
• Successful track record of managing a sales territory.
• Strong time and management skills.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory business through solution selling of gas products and technology to new and existing customers.
• Develop and execute plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions and project scope with customers.
• Utilize Outlook, Call Proof, or other CRM platforms for planning and time management of the territory.
• Develop long term relationships with strategic customers and grow key accounts.
• Review and manage existing customer AR balances to minimize working capital and risk.
• Promote sales and customer management through retail store locations within the territory.
• Meet goals set by management and perform administrative duties in Concur and pricing data sheets.
