Job summary

CSG Talent is partnering with a global leader in building technology to recruit a Territory Manager. This role is for a hunter-style sales professional who will own a territory from the ground up and pursue new business across major metropolitan markets.

You will build relationships with senior decision-makers, manage long-cycle opportunities, and drive early-stage engagement to influence project decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience driving new business and generating pipeline.
• Ability to articulate value of highly technical building solutions.
• Strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan across key metropolitan markets.
• Identify, pursue and develop new business opportunities with developers, building owners, investors, architects, consultants and contractor partners.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of complex, long-cycle sales opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the CRE and construction ecosystem.
• Educate customers on benefits and value of a technical building solution.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, commercially compelling solutions.
• Drive specification and early-stage engagement to influence projects before purchasing decisions are made.
• Generate opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Manage the full sales process from opportunity identification to negotiation and award.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor market activity and construction pipelines for opportunities within the territory.
• Represent the business at industry events and customer meetings.
