Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking an Area Manager to drive sales growth across a defined Louisiana territory. You will regularly call on independent and regional accounts, develop and execute strategic business plans, and ensure budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.

Responsibilities include efficient time and resource management, building business through company-branded products, managing pricing and credit terms, and traveling locally to expand the customer base.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2 years of industry-related experience or a culinary school degree will be considered equivalent experience.
• Outside sales experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, strong desire to build new business, strong work ethic and attention to details, excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages a geographical sales territory ensuring that independent and regional account business is developed and budgeted sales and profit objectives are achieved.
• Regularly calls on existing and potential customers.
• Develops and executes business plans.
• Effectively manages time and resources to attain results.
• Builds business through support of company branded product.
• Manages pricing and monitors credit term compliance.
