We are seeking a Territory Sales Associate (Summer) for our Boston territory. The role involves selling bakery products, both branded and Private Label, to customers throughout the area, focusing on sales growth and expanding market share of our profitable branded labels.

Responsibilities and Essential Tasks

1. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers on behalf of Gold Medal.
2. Communicate regularly with company employees and store personnel regarding store status and displays.
3. Promote products through customer interactions and hand selling.
4. Verify adherence to rotation and coding policies.
5. Ensure merchandising standards are met, including planograms, tags, signs, and displays.
6. Maintain bread aisle standards, ensuring initial loads are up by 10 AM and pull-ups are maintained.
7. Follow store visit schedules and sales call guidelines to provide comprehensive service.
8. Follow safety policies and work habits.
9. Obtain supervisor approval before changing job procedures.
10. Perform additional duties and assist in training as needed.
11. Operate in alignment with company values of caring, commitment, and integrity.

All employees are responsible for food safety and product quality by following SOPs and quality standards. Any issues affecting product quality must be promptly addressed or reported to a supervisor.

Qualifications

Education/Work Experience/Training

High school diploma required; college preferred. Prior food sales experience is a plus.

Licenses/Certificates

Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a clean driving record are required.
