Job Title: Field Sales Representative, MA

Status: Full Time

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Salary Range: $50k - $75k

Job Description & Expectations

Hendler Family Brewing Company is hiring for a brewery sales representative based in Massachusetts! Our brewery reps are continuously seeking new business, nurturing current relationships, and advocating for our brands in growing markets. We are looking for an entrepreneurial craft beer lover with ambition and flexibility. The position involves selling Hendler Family Brewing Company brands at the retail level within the Massachusetts market, collaborating with wholesaler representatives to ensure goal achievement and brand growth. This is a remote position requiring a self-starting candidate with flexible hours and occasional long-distance travel, sometimes up to 2 hours from home.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Educate retail account managers, buyers, and consumers about our products.
  • Obtain commitments from buyers and communicate orders to distributors.
  • Represent the brewery at tastings and events.
  • Merchandise products on shelves and in coolers.
  • Manage product freshness in the market.
  • Increase product visibility through better shelf and tap handle placement.
  • Maintain constant communication with distributors and team members.
  • Identify and report market opportunities.
  • Manage sales, prospect new business, and build client relationships with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate on sales strategies and goals.
  • Document all sales activities thoroughly.
  • Participate in events like tap takeovers, beer festivals, dinners, and tastings.
  • Oversee and schedule a small team of Brand Ambassadors.
Job Requirements
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience with CRM tools like KARMA or VIP is a plus.
  • Experience in the craft beer industry is a plus but not required.
  • Sales, customer service, or related industry experience preferred.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite or similar.
  • Understanding of craft beer markets.
  • Bilingual in Spanish/Portuguese is a plus.
  • Clean driving record and ability to drive 500+ miles weekly.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

This is a fully remote position involving visiting accounts across a large territory and remote communication. Candidates must navigate the territory confidently with samples and supplies. Travel to the brewery is twice a year, with additional account visits outside those times possible.
