2020 Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build strong merchant relationships, increase program visibility, and drive growth across your territory in New York. The role is field-based with daily travel, typically 22–35 visits per day, combining in-store engagement, driving, and admin follow-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.
• Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer.
• Travel to major markets and events for launches to promote products.
• Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed.
• Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations.
