Quest Diagnostics Incorporated is seeking a Phlebotomist III for the Hampton, VA territory. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with rotational weekend coverage.

Travel within the territory is required to deliver professional phlebotomy services at PSCs, IOPs, or other sites. Responsibilities include specimen collection, patient identification, data entry, and maintaining compliant, high-quality laboratory results.

Formación

• Three years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• English required; travel up to 75%.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and capillary draws following established procedures.
• Obtain patient identification and confirm specimen labeling accuracy; perform data entry as needed.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and storage.
• Provide professional patient and client service; communicate clearly and address questions.
• Travel within the territory to PSCs/IOPs; mentor on-site staff when applicable.
• Follow policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality requirements; use lab systems to confirm orders.
