Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Inc is seeking a Phlebotomist II to travel within a Glen Ridge, NJ territory, collecting specimens at PSCs and client sites. The role requires patient identification accuracy, adherence to testing protocols, and strong customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Hours vary (5:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Monday–Friday) with occasional Saturday rotation; travel up to 75% is possible and a phlebotomy certification is required in specific states. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• English required

Responsibilities

• Travel within an assigned territory to deliver professional phlebotomy services at PSCs, IOPs or other sites.
• Perform specimen collections following established procedures for venipuncture, capillary draws, and complex collections.
• Obtain patient identification and labeling accuracy; perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting and storage.
• Provide professional, respectful service to patients and clients; address questions and maintain a welcoming collection environment.
