Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group, with an opening for an Outside Parts Salesperson. The role develops and achieves maximum profitable sales from assigned accounts in a designated territory, analyzing customer operations to anticipate future parts and service requirements.

This position requires regular calls on key accounts, literature promotion, and collaboration with service teams.

Qualifications

• One‑year automotive parts related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and achieves maximum sales volume for parts and labor with assigned accounts.
• Oversees operations of assigned customers; advises on inventory, service, and new products.
• Plans territory coverage; calls upon key accounts; promotes products and literature.
• Completes weekly customer call sheets summarizing calls.
• Controls personal expenses and submits weekly reports.
• Promotes all MHC offerings including RoadForce, Service, and Leasing.
• Investigates and refers customer complaints to management; assists counter personnel as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
