Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America's largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for an Outside Parts Salesperson who will develop and achieve maximum profitable sales from assigned accounts in a designated territory.

The role analyzes customer operations to determine future parts, service and truck requirements while promoting MHC products and services to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• One-year automotive parts related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience dealing with the public in sales/service capacity.
• Computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and achieves maximum sales volume for parts and labor in assigned accounts.
• Oversees operations of assigned customers; advises on inventory, service, and new products.
• Plans territory coverage; calls on key accounts regularly; takes orders and promotes products.
• Completes customer call sheets weekly with call summaries.
• Controls personal expenses within approved budget; submits weekly reports.
• Promotes all MHC products and services including RoadForce, Service, Body Shop, Truck Sales, Leasing, Carrier, Finance.
• Investigates and refers customer complaints to the appropriate manager.
• Assists counter personnel with orders, deliveries, returns, inventory and other tasks.
