Job summary

UpShot Recruiting is partnering with an established electrical distributor to hire an Outside Sales Representative for the Greater Cincinnati market. You'll grow commercial electrical business by deepening existing accounts and winning new contractor relationships, with home-based flexibility and regular travel to contractor offices and jobsites.

Qualifications

• Electrical industry sales experience, ideally three or more years in electrical distribution.
• Strong knowledge of electrical products and an understanding of contractor needs, pricing, and distributor service expectations.
• The ability to develop new business while managing and growing established accounts.

Responsibilities

• Grow existing accounts by identifying customer needs, earning more of their business, and pursuing project opportunities.
• Develop new relationships with commercial electrical contractors, builders, and other electrical professionals.
• Maintain a consistent schedule of customer visits, prospecting, and quotation follow‑up.
• Partner with inside sales, quotations, and product specialists to deliver practical solutions and responsive service.
• Coordinate with branch operations and credit teams to support accurate orders and resolve customer issues.
• Use account and sales data to identify opportunities and achieve sales and gross profit goals.
