Job summary

Echo Electric is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative focused on the commercial contractor market in Vincennes, IN. You will own end-to-end selling of electrical switch gear and lighting, targeting growth with existing and new accounts.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in sales or related field, 2+ years of electrical distribution experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in sales or closely related field required.
• At least two years of electrical or distribution experience or product knowledge.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication, including sales presentations.
• Knowledge of the industrial/commercial/contractor market.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Proficient in PC use and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Make regular personal sales calls at customer establishments to seek new opportunities and leads.
• Introduce, promote and demonstrate new products to the customer base.
• Coordinate secured orders with Inside Sales for entry, tracking and fulfilment.
• Manage account base and new opportunities to maximize sales and gross margins.
• Maintain ethical, professional behavior and keep a clean vehicle.
