Job summary

Cherokee Building Materials, Inc. - Flowood is seeking an Outside Sales professional to own the full sales cycle in an assigned territory.

You will develop and implement the company Marketing Plan and work toward customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and long-term account goals. You will gain training in drywall, insulation, metal studs, ceiling systems, and accessories for the drywall industry while building relationships, preparing proposals, negotiating terms, and coordinating with

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.
• Ability to self-manage is critical, with experience in supplier relationships.
• Experience in sales and building materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all steps of the sales process from lead generation to close.
• Identify opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell.
• Establish rapport with customers and build long-term relationships.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, bids, and contracts.
