Job summary

Nelbud is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow new business across Chicago and the Chicagoland area. This hunter role focuses on prospecting, meeting decision-makers, and closing new commercial service opportunities in fire protection, kitchen exhaust cleaning, grease management, and related facility services.

You will own the front end of the sales cycle, build your own pipeline, and earnings are directly tied to performance, with a base of $65,000 plus uncapped commission and growth

Qualifications

• 1+ year of B2B outside sales or new business development experience.
• Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and generate new business.
• Comfortable with in-person, field-based selling.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland territory.
• Experience with Salesforce or another CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new B2B customers throughout Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
• Build your own pipeline through cold outreach, in-person prospecting, referrals, networking, and other business-development activities.
• Meet with business owners, facility managers, operations leaders, and other decision-makers.
• Conduct site visits and identify customer needs.
• Present customized service solutions.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate agreements, and close new business.
• Maintain consistent follow-up throughout the sales process.
• Partner with operations and technical teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff.
• Track sales activity, pipeline, and performance in CRM systems.
