Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside B2B sales in a quota-driven environment.
• Experience selling payroll, HR, SaaS, or related services.
• Proven prospecting, cold outreach, lead generation and new business development.
• Ability to manage and grow a defined sales territory and consistently meet/exceed goals.
• Strong relationship-building with business owners and decision makers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a professional presence.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects across the sales cycle.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle from territory planning to closing new business.
• Conduct consultative conversations to understand payroll and HR needs, challenges, and goals.
• Identify opportunities where ConnectPay's payroll and HR solutions add value.
• Build and develop a healthy sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
• Prospect via networking, referrals, community involvement, social selling, and other outbound strategies.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with local business leaders and referral sources.
• Manage a defined geographic territory for long-term growth and market penetration.
• Meet or exceed sales activity, pipeline and revenue goals.
• Track and report sales activity and performance metrics using CRM.
• Collaborate with prospective clients and internal teams for a smooth transition to ConnectPay.
• Represent ConnectPay professionally in the local business community.
